March 16, 2012: BMDAC visited Dapasoft Inc in North York and meet its CEO, Mr. Stephen Chen. Dapasoft is a top software developing company for health-care industry in North America. Its products are widely used among many hospitals and health-care institutes including St. Michael's hospital and Sick Kids. Its most noticeable project is a database called BORN which is developed with the funding from Ontario government. Please refer to www.bornontario.ca for more info. February 23, 2012: BMDAC Secretary- General, Dr. David Dai met with Ms. Tania Xerri,
Director, Health Leadership and Learning Network at York University to discuss about the curriculum in detail for Chinese health care delegates. BMDAC is going to establish a partnership with York University to provide training courses to health care executives from China on a yearly basis. Dr. Lee Errett was honoured by $2 million dollars donation |

January 13, 2012: BMDAC president, Dr Lee Errett was honoured with a 2 million dollar donation from Agnico Eagle Mines. The money will be used to build a new state-of-the-art Cardiac Surgery Operating Room in the new wing at St, Michael’s hospital. |
