May 29 - June 1, 2016: Spine surgeon, Dr. Henry Ahn from St. Michael' Hospital, Research Associate, Dr. Jian Wang from Toronto Western Hospital, Secretary General of BMDAC, Dr. David Dai visited Taizhou People's Hospital in Jiangsu province. They gave three lectures, discussed about five difficult cases and did three operations. The Vice Mayor, Ms. Wang and other city officials met the team, and encourage more exchanges in the future. The hospital will send one spine surgeons to St. Michael' Hospital to learn MIS from Dr. Ahn.

May 30, 2016: Cardio-thoracic team from St. Mary General Hospital visited Fengxian Central Hospital in Shanghai.

May 25 - 28, 2016: Cardiac team led by Dr. Yves Leclerc from St. Mary General Hospital visited Liaocheng People's Hospital for the second times. Demonstrated three operations. Dr. Jun Gu, senior researcher from New York State Research Institute visited the central research lab, discussed about the possibilities of further cooperation. In the meantime: Thoracic surgeon, Dr. Paul Chiasson from St. Mary General Hospital and chief ophthalmologist, Dr. David Wong from St. Mary Hospital visited Binzhou Affiliated Hospital. They were appointed as Visiting Professor, gave lectures and demo surgeries. Chief Oncologist, Dr. Christine Brezden-Masley from St. Michael' Hospital and Researcher, Dr. Wu from Sunnybrook Research Centre visited Taizhou People's Hospital. They joined Tumor Board discussion and gave lectures. The hospital will send one oncologist to St. Michael to learn about clinical research.
