Mar 27-30, 2017: VP of BMDAC, Prof. David Mazer of Anesthesia Department of St. Michael' Hospital visited the Renji Hospital and Changzhen Hospital in Shanghai. Dr. Mazer is also the Chair of Research Ethics Committee of St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Mazer gave the lectures on clinical and research issues in cardiac field, which was very much appreciated by Chinese counterparts.

Mar 15, 2017: Dr. Guowei Meng from the Cardiac Surgery Division of the Second Hospital of Shandong University has finished his three months visiting scholarship at Royal Victoria Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Dominique Shum-Tim in Montreal. Dr. Aigang Sun, a neurosurgeon from Linyi People's hospital has started his three months visiting scholarship at St. Michael Hospital in Toronto.

Feb 21, 2017: Invited by Vice President of BMDAC, Dr. Dominique Shum-Tim, Mr. Jingtao Peng, the Chinese Counsel General of Consulate General in Montreal visited McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), MUHC is composed of Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal Heart Institute, Montreal Children's Hospital, Cedars Cancer Centre and Medical Research Centre.
